Unfortunately, we can no longer provide a free pickup and dump service for used mattresses or electronics that require a responsible 'end of life'.
Sorry, we sometimes have to say "No ... Thank You."
The general categories of item which cannot be accepted include
- Items that may cause harm to individuals, (CPSC)
- Items that may cause harm to the environment (EPA)
- Items that cannot be quickly resold (Custom Fitted or Substandard Conditions)
Such items have traditionally included (but are not necessarily limited to)
- ANY recorded media that infringes on Copyright (Bootlegs)
- Assemble Furniture (Ikea)
- Bean Bags
- Box Springs
- Cabinets requiring Installation
- CRTs (Tube type TVs & Monitors)
- Custom Blinds
- Built in Appliances
- Dishwashers
- Trash Compactors
- Water Softeners
- Bunk Beds for Children
- Chests with clasps or locks
- Children’s Clothing with
- Lead accessories or
- Heat transfers
- Jewelry
- Children’s
- Carriers
- Car Seats
- Cribs
- Play Pens
- Console TV’s or Players
- Computer Parts

* There is (only) one exception to this policy: If a you are in possession of a mattress considered to be in pristine condition, you are encouraged to drive it to any of our stores where it will be inspected for condition, stains and bed bugs by the manager on duty, before it is unloaded. Please be aware that, should the mattress be refused for any reason, we will NOT be providing a free disposal service and you will be required to remove the item from our property. Further, A box spring is NEVER accepted without the inspected and accepted mattress it is paired with. Thank you!
